A platform connecting the leading creative and powerful innovators in the Arab world

Fail

The Problem

One of this platform’s main goals is to raise awareness regarding the digital transformation happening across all sectors, and attempt to secure “equal access to technologies and digital literacy” in the Arab world as a means to close socio-economic and gender gaps. With that goal in mind, the client aimed to conduct research on how digitalization will affect the future of the labor market in the Middle East and the policy implications that these digital changes will result in.

Approach

The Approach

The consulting team was contracted to conduct desk research on digitalization strategies in the MENA region, contributing to chapters on changes in the trade & commerce, financial services, and healthcare sectors. This addressed issues such as automation, e-commerce, fintech and AI and how they act as both threats and opportunities to existing players. Furthermore, the means by which these trends will alter the employment dynamic within each of the studied sectors were also explored. Finally, policy recommendations were made on how to best take advantage of these changes.

The Results

The findings were published in  the client’s first publication and findings were shared in several conferences around the MENA region.
