In recent years, Egypt's agribusiness industry has taken center-stage due to its substantial contribution to the Egyptian economy. Acumen has supported this industry through its involvement with the Ministry of Trade and Industry on an innovative national food export strategy. The strategy was conducted through the Industrial Modernization Centre to identify untapped export opportunities, export markets, and solutions to mitigate export barriers. This was followed by the food processing strategy, conducted with support from the Trade and Domestic Market Enhancement Programme funded by the EU, to leverage opportunities that can further propel the processed food sector's performance. Acumen has also worked with numerous private sector clients in the agribusiness and processed food industry, helping them strategize, diversify their lines of business, launch new products, and enhance their organization's overall performance.
