The Problem
The client was keen on providing a detailed and independent view of the economic outlook of the various countries that they operate in. This was especially important in circumstances where the countries were going through transitional phases. For 2015 and 2016 they did not have an in-house economist to work on the sector outlook.
The Approach
The Acumen founding partners, economists Inji Amr and Sandra Farid relied on a mix of economic research and expert interviews with key stakeholders in order to garner a cross-disciplinary understanding of the economic situation and the main challenges and risks that may come into play. As well as shedding light on the key implications of this potential risks.
